Kirby Howell-Baptiste was born in London, England.

Career[]

In 2008, Kirby got her first acting role in the BBC medical drama Holby City in an uncredited role. She has starred in many short films and in guest and recurring roles on television, including House of Lies, Alone Together and Into the Dark. In 2018, Kirby got her first main role in BBC America's spy thriller series Killing Eve. Later that year, she starred in a recurring role in NBC's The Good Place and HBO's Barry. In 2019, she starred in a recurring role in the fourth season of Hulu’s Veronica Mars in 2019.

She has starred in many short films such as How to Succeed with Women, We Four Queens and Solar. She has also starred in movies, including A Dog's Purpose, Disney’s 101 Dalmatians prequel Cruella, which is set to be released in 2021, and Happily.
