Ralph Vlasin is one of the recurring characters in the first season of CBS All Access's Why Women Kill. He is portrayed by Scott Porter.

Ralph is Mary’s abusive and controlling husband, who gets easily jealous if he sees her talking to other men, and isn’t afraid of confrontation, no matter where and when.

Ralph appears to be a nice guy, happily married, and living in a nice house with a good job. But behind doors, Ralph is a controlling and abusive man with a violent temper, hitting or becoming aggressive towards his wife, Mary.

Ralph and Mary have a complicated relationship. He’s physically abusive, and becomes easily jealous. He gets angry if he sees her talking to other men, instantly assuming she’s flirting with or trying to seduce them. He likes to threaten her with a loaded gun he keeps in his bedside drawer to make her stay.
