Sadie Calvano is an American actress. She portrays April Warner in the first season of CBS All Access's Why Women Kill.

Early Life[edit | edit source]

Calvano was born in Los Angeles, California. She began performing in musical theatre when she was seven, including Alice in Alice In Wonderland, Belle in Beauty And The Beast and Sharpay in High School Musical. Calvano was a former competitive gymnast, and took home the gold medal in July 2009 at the 2010 California State Games in San Diego.

Career[edit | edit source]

Calvano began her acting career in 2010, starring in a guest role in CBS’ NCIS. In 2011, she starred in a guest role on Adult Swim’s Eagleheart. In 2013, Calvano got her first main role on television in CBS’s sitcom Mom. She starred in a main role for the first 3 seasons, before becoming a recurring role in the 4th season, a and guest role in the 6th season. She has made other appearances on television, including Disney XD’s Kickin’ It and ABC’s Melissa & Joey.

She made her movie debut in the 2011 biographical drama J. Edgar. She has appeared in the television movie The Perfect Daughter, and the direct-to-video movie The Package.
